how does it feels to be 18.
"it feels like shit" - i said.
t'was a mistake to feel that way.
because everything turned out alright in the end.
more than alright, way ahead from ok, nearest to fabulous.


so lets start the ball rolling, when the clock strikes 12.
the first to wish was fuad nurhadi.
was nice that he remembered, but he smsed me before 12am.
the one who smsed me on the dot, was NISYA.credits for you. :)
before the other smses and calls started pouring in.

the fact that you guys remembered was more than enough

then there was an overseas call.
SHAPNEM CALLED ME. it made me sad though because she seems so far away. and i couldnt have a celebration with her. and the fact that she called me from aussie was touching enough.come home soon girl.


in secondary 4, she went out of school just to get me roses for my bday.
in secondary 4, diah, afiza, hafizah, farahin made me do a treasure hunt. and ill remember thatn for life. and i didnt even have a clue at first they were the one who planned it. haha.



and wait, i received two separate phone calls.
over the line were my two bestest guy friends.
jeffri and nizal.
nizal sang for me a marilyn monroe style-d bdae song.
jeffri sang while strumming a guitar.
haha. thank you guys.
i have only a few close guy friends.
but numbers dont matter, because its one of the few which made a difference to your life.


so lets talk about the celeb over at swensens at westmall.
those who were there,
mira, soefie, faridah, nadiah, hadi, fuad, jeffri, nisa, shamil. nadhirah and mai n epin came though it was near to the end. and nizal was working at his outlet, was funny to see him, he looked so .. heheh.. different.


we played the 'fish changing the direction' and '4 squares' game.
and fard, no one knows the answer to the fish game.
and diah gave a really really clever alternative to the 4 squares game.

then the east people except for fuad left.
its ok faridah, i understand that you have to go home early. :)
then the unexpected cake arrived.

i grew up in a girl world.
the opposite sex never was an issue.
in pri skool, i didnt socialise with them much.
in sec skool, i was surrounded with girls and making guy friends outside of school
wasnt even that much of a necessity for me.
i dont exactly have guy cousins or brothers older than me.
the only guys i knew were friends of friends. or just exprischool mates or plain acquaintance, before this.
until, i had a boyfriend once. and he was the first.
dont wish to talk about that though.
i can go on forever but i wish to stop here.
haha.
im kekok with them fard. just that i hide them well enough.



and zal,
dont let your sea of confusion drown you.
even though you can swim , you should know how dangerous the waves can be.
i have files and files of notes you can refer to.

things will eventually turn out alright for you.

and the sad thing was,
it was just a few minutes after turning 18,
when i made a mistake of holding a call which almost ruined my birthday.
but, it was made up for, a few minutes before my day was over.
its always nice to fall asleep with a good conversation.
it feels special.
